    Furniture Removal

Sofas, beds, wardrobes and the awkward pieces that will not fit down the stairs.

Furniture is the single most common call we get and it is almost always heavier and more awkward than it looks. Sectionals that came in before the doorframe was finished, wardrobes assembled in the room they sit in, sleeper sofas with a steel frame inside. We take them apart where they have to come apart, carry them down, and protect the walls and floors on the way. Access is what moves the price here more than size — a piece at the curb is a different job from the same piece on the third floor with no lift.

    Service FAQs

    Do stairs cost extra?

They affect the price, yes. Carrying a sleeper sofa down three floors is a different job from one on a driveway, and we would rather price that honestly than surprise you.

Will you donate furniture that is still good?

Where it is clean and usable, yes. Getting it reused is better than filling a trailer with it.

    How it works

Three steps, no site visit needed for most jobs.

    1

    Call us

Tell us what needs to go and roughly where it is sitting.

    2

    Get a price

We price by how much space it takes on the truck and how far it has to be carried. You hear the number before we start.

    3

    We haul it away

We turn up when we said, carry it out ourselves, and sweep up after. furniture removal done in one visit wherever it fits in one load.

Not sure what yours would come to? Send a photo and we will price it before anyone drives out.

    What decides the price

Nobody can quote this trade honestly without seeing what they are looking at — the same reason a mechanic will not price a repair over the phone. But there is no mystery to what is being priced.

    Space, not weight

You are paying for room on the truck. A pile of empty boxes can cost more than the same-sized pile of concrete.

How far it has to be carried

At the curb is quicker than an upstairs back bedroom, and the price follows the work.

    Stairs and tight turns

A sleeper sofa down a staircase is a different job from one on a driveway.

    Anything needing special handling

Paint, chemicals, tires and some electronics cannot ride in a general load.

Flattening boxes and stacking things tightly genuinely reduces what you pay. It is the one bit of prep worth doing.

    What we take

Almost anything two people can carry and that is legal to put in a truck. Furniture, appliances, mattresses, garage and attic clutter, yard and construction debris, office and retail fit-outs, whole-property clearances.

If you are not sure about something, send a photo and ask. It is a thirty-second answer.

    What nobody can take

These are refused by every hauler, not just us — they are governed by disposal law and go to a household hazardous waste drop-off instead:

    • Paint and solvents
    • Motor oil and fuel
    • Pesticides and chemicals
    • Propane tanks
    • Car batteries
    • Asbestos
    • Medical waste
    • Tires (varies)

Pull these out of the pile before we arrive and everything else can go on the truck.

There is usually one thing people are not sure about. Ask before you book, not after we arrive.

    What customers say

"Love these guys. Saved me big time, after Amazon stiffed me with a used mattress they were supposed to take away. These guys could tell I was in a pickle and got to me at the end of their work day. Solid people I will be definitely patronizing in the future."

    — Prof. Tru

"Excellent service all around. Kenny is straight forward and professional. I went with Apex because their truck looks professional and they answered my call quickly with a quote in minutes. I'd recommend working with Apex if you need something done right the first time."

    — Robert Robles

"Kenny and his team did an exceptional job removing junk from our yard in Los Angeles (90037). We called and requested same-day service, and they showed up promptly and got the job done."
